Physical Therapy - PRN

PACE@Home is seeking a Physical Therapy to evaluate and reassesses patients to assess mobility level and other functional abilities.  Provides and recommends therapeutic exercise, gait training, ambulation, etc.  Plans and develops group exercise programs for maintenance therapy for participants.  Responsible for the overall physical therapy program at PACE.

 Employee Type:  PRN

Minimum Experience: One year experience in physical therapy, preferred. One year experience working with the frail or elderly, required.  Able to demonstrate clinical competency with geriatric population.  Will supervise program aides and physical therapy assistants as needed.  Possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Required Degree: Licensed to practice Physical Therapy in North Carolina.  Must maintain CPR and First Aid certification.

Other Requirements:  Must have Medical form filled out and signed by physician, PA or NP prior to working.  Must have less than 4 points on driving record.

Travel: 90%
